How to Use the Messaging Dashboard?

Explore the main sections of your messaging dashboard to manage conversations effectively. Use the Search Bar, Filter Options, Sort Options, and Start a New Conversation to connect with customers and organize your inbox.


1. Search Bar

The search bar allows you to find specific conversations quickly by typing keywords, customer names, or message content.

2. Filter Options

Filters help you refine your conversations:

  • Read Status – View all messages or filter by read and unread.

  • Status – Choose to see only open conversations or include all statuses.

  • Assignee – Filter conversations by a specific team member or view all assignees.

  • Tags – Sort conversations by assigned tags for easier management.

  • Favorites – Mark important conversations as favorites for quick access and easy tracking.

3. Sort Conversations

Organize your inbox with Sort Options:

  • Sort By – Choose to sort conversations by Last Message Date or Name.

  • Order – Display conversations from Newest First or Oldest First.

4. Conversation Views

Manage conversations using different views:

  • My Conversations – Shows all conversations assigned to you.

  • All Conversations – Displays every conversation, regardless of its assignee.

  • Unassigned Conversations – Lists conversations that have not been assigned to any team member yet.

5. Start a New Conversation

Use the Start a New Conversation option to initiate chats with customers:

  • Phone Number – Enter the customer’s phone number. The default country code is 966 (Saudi Arabia). Ensure you enter the full number, for example: 966 + local number.

  • Message Template – Select a pre-approved message template to comply with WhatsApp’s messaging policies. A template message is required to start a conversation.

  • Start Chat – Click the Start Chat button to send the template and begin the conversation.
